What is Remote Hearing Care?

Many new hearing aids allow for virtual appointments via a smartphone. This means your hearing aid can be adjusted by an audiologist from any location.

This means the customer does not have to visit the audiologist at the clinic or the audiologist visit the customer in their residence.

Over the last year telehealth virtual consultations with medical practitioners have become increasingly popular.

Remote Hearing Care is the same as a virtual telehealth appointment except the audiologist can also adjust your hearing aids in real time.

For Remote Hearing Care to work the customers needs compatible hearing aids and a smartphone.

Before fitting hearing aids The Hearing Experts recommend an audiologist assess the health of your ears and completes a hearing assessment using a calibrated audiometer.

During your remote appointment our audiologist will also explain how to insert, remove and care for your hearing aids, connect them to your smart phone and show you how to request and setup remote hearing care for subsequent appointments.
