Details & Features

The Starkey Mini Remote Microphone provides users of Livio hearing aids with the ultimate one-to-one conversation listening experience, allowing high-quality sound to be transmitted directly into your hearing aids.

Brand: Starkey

Compatibility: compatible with Livio Edge, Livio AI and Livio hearing aids

Includes: 1 X Mini Remote Microphone, 1 X power adapter, 1 X USB-to-micro-USB cable and operations manual. Additional regional plug adapters are also included.

Designed for the Livio range, the Starkey Mini Remote Microphone provides a listening experience of supreme quality even in environments with lots of background noise present, like cafes or restaurants. As it can be clipped on to your conversation partner’s clothing, it vastly increases signal-to-noise ratio (SNR), thus vastly improving speech discrimination and minimising listening effort and fatigue. What is more, its design is sleek and elegant, and the device is both discreet and convenient to carry on-the-go.

Charging:

The Mini Remote Microphone can be charged either via power supply or using the USB cable provided. A full charge is typically completed in about 3 hours.

How to use:

For optimal performance, the Starkey Mini Remote Microphone should be positioned around 20cm (or 8 inches) from the speaker’s mouth. Although one-to-one conversation is the device’s primary purpose, it can also be laid flat on a surface closer to the desired sound for tabletop use. The Remote Microphone has an operating range of up to 20m (60 feet) while in line of sight. Additionally, you can fully control the device using the Starkey Control App, which allows you to stop and start audio streaming and adjust the volume.

To use your Starkey Mini Remote microphone, you will need to pair it to your hearing aids. Firstly, you must ensure the hearing aids are not connected to any other Bluetooth or Starkey 2.4Ghz devices. After that, turn them off and back on again and then place them within 15cm (6 inches) of the Mini Remote Microphone. Then turn the Microphone on by pressing the power button for 2 seconds. The LED indicator will illuminate with a pulsing light to indicate that you can release the button. While the light is still pulsing, double-click the power button and the LED indicator will then alternately blink between red and blue. If your hearing aids have been successfully connected, the light will change to a double yellow blink.
