Details & Features

Supporting both in-coming and out-going calls, the ConnectLine Phone Adaptor 2.0 is Oticon’s solution to the difficulties associated with landline telephone calls. Never again worry about where you are holding the telephone receiver to gain the best signal and sound into your hearing aid.

This technology provides a hands-free listening and speaking experience for your home, business, and social phone conversations. Whilst using the ConnectLine system, your hearing aids essentially become a wireless set of headphones. Your voice is picked up by your own hearing aid microphones and sent back to your telephone by the ConnectLine system for your conversation partner to hear.

The Phone Adaptor will sit neatly next to your landline telephone and being of modest size will not look unsightly in any way. It has a generous range of around 30 metres with the Streamer Pro, allowing you plenty of freedom around your home whilst keeping confident that if the phone rings you will not need to dash to the location of the landline handset.

The Streamer Pro and the ConnectClip both have volume control buttons so you can easily alter the incoming volume of the phone call. This volume is memorised by the streamer so the next time you make a phone call, it will be at your preferred volume level. The hearing aid microphones can be turned off completely during a phone call by simply holding the volume down button on either device. This function will enable the user to attenuate sound from the home whilst hearing the phone call directly to their hearing aids.

Please note that this product can only be used when accompanied by the Oticon Streamer Pro or Oticon ConnectClip which are both sold separately.

  • Choose the ConnectClip for OPN & OPNS Hearing Aids.
  • Choose the Streamer Pro for other older Oticon Hearing Aids.
How to use:

The phone adapter must be connected to a power outlet and telephone line. The Streamer Pro, or ConnectClip, and phone adapter must be wirelessly connected to each other. This connection is established automatically when the streamer and phone adapter are paired and in range.

Once all set up, phone calls could not be simpler. When a call is incoming, an audible ringtone is sounded to the hearing aids and LED indicators will light up on your chosen streaming device as well as the Phone Adaptor. Depending on whether you are using the Phone Adaptor with the Streamer Pro, or the Connect Clip, the actions taken to answer, reject or end a call will differ but should usually be one brief push of a single button.
