This handy gadget is part of the Oticon ConnectLine family, designed to better the lives of those with communication difficulties associated with hearing loss. The ConnectLine Microphone works with the Streamer Pro (sold separately) to transmit the voice of the microphone wearer directly into your hearing aids, thus improving the signal-to-noise ratio for easier comprehension of the voice you aim to hear. Provides a quality listening experience in a range of challenging environments, including restaurants, office spaces, coffee shops and others.
Charging:
The device is mains powered and reaches full capacity in 1.5 hours. A full charge provides about 5 hours of constant usage. A steady red light will indicate when less than 20 minutes of usage time is left.
How to use:
To use the device, you must first pair it with the Streamer Pro (sold separately), which can be done using the simple set-up guide in the included manual. This will only need to be done once, as with each following use the devices will pair automatically provided that they are switched on and in range (up to 15m, depending on physical obstructions). You then need to wear the Streamer Pro while your conversation partner clips the Microphone to their clothing or wears it on a lapel around their neck. To get the most out of your device, it should be around 10-20cm away from the wearer’s mouth and should always point towards it.
